Please join us in welcoming Captain Keith M. Donohue, USCG (Ret.) to the G&H Towing Family!
We’re proud to announce that Captain Donohue has joined G&H Towing as our new Executive Vice President, effective August 1, 2025.
Captain Donohue brings with him 28 years of distinguished service in the United States Coast Guard, most recently serving as Commander of Sector Houston-Galveston – one of the largest and most strategically vital units in the Coast Guard. His leadership has spanned maritime safety, security, incident management, and port operations in some of the busiest shipping regions in the world.
His impressive resume includes:
• Deputy Sector Commander in Houston-Galveston and Long Island Sound
• International Port Security Liaison in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East
• Commanding Officer of the Pacific Strike Team
• Vessel policy writing at USCG Headquarters
• Marine safety and environmental protection leadership across the U.S. and Caribbean
With a Master’s in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and an Inland Master’s License, Captain Donohue is also a recipient of the Coast Guard’s Legion of Merit Award.
Originally from Long Island, NY, he now calls Texas home with his wife, Gemma, and their son, Aidan. When he’s not supporting maritime operations, you’ll likely find him fishing or cheering Aidan on at water polo, band, and scouting events.
