President Stephen N. Huffman was pleased to accept on behalf of the G & H Towing Company a letter of commendation from Rear Admiral Roy A. Nash of the U.S. Coast Guard. President Huffman was presented the letter by Captain James Whitehead, Commanding Officer Sector Houston Galveston.
G & H Towing Company received the letter for successful completion of the Coast Guard’s Towing Vessel Bridging Program. President Huffman, in accepting the letter, credited the hard work and commitment to safety of the G & H Towing Company employees.
The ceremony was held aboard the Hunter M and Jess Newton at the companies SAS Dock. The ceremony was attended by officials from the U.S. Coast Guard, G & H Towing Company and Bay Houston Towing Company.
